The ViVID project is a £39m collaboration between Ford Motor Company, Loughborough University, McLaren Applied Technologies and IPG Automotive to speed up the development of the next electric Transit van.
Project Overview
The project brings together researchers from industry and academia to develop the tools required to design and build the next generation Ford Transit.
My Research
I’m in charge of the modelling, testing and improvement of the power electronics and electric machines that will form part of the next-generation electric Transits. We are making tools and designing methods to help Ford develop the next generation of electric Transit vans faster and more efficiently than before.
